Jade consults regularly to various corporates and enjoys group weight loss programmes, cooking classes, and corporate presentations. Jade is a whizz in the kitchen, with a passion for developing recipes that are both nutritious and delicious. Jade believes that the key to being successful in eating healthily is to adapt it to your lifestyle to make it sustainable. Jade has worked extensively on corporate nutrition programmes, enjoys public speaking and presentations, and consults regularly for the media.
Co-founder of Nutritional Solutions, Claire, is passionate about empowering people to improve their health through optimal nutrition. She is the past president of ADSA and one of the most recognised figures in the field. The Nutritional Solutions CNE (Continuing Nutritional Education) is Claire’s brainchild is a platform to provide practitioners with current, evidence-based updates in the field of nutrition and dietetics. Claire has developed and implemented interactive nutrition education initiatives for the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy. She has presented nutrition intervention programs for local corporations and large multinationals and consults to the food and pharmaceutical industries. She contributes regularly to print, online, television and radio media. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and part of the True Health Initiative.
Guided by evidence-based nutrition, Monique believes in an integrative approach to nutrition where the key to being healthy is to adopt small yet impactful changes to your lifestyle. Monique has a special interest in sports nutrition, gut health, and teaching patients to eat sustainably for both better personal health and the health of the earth. Monique has worked in the private sector since 2011, equipping her with a wealth of experience in executive nutrition, corporate wellness initiatives, wellness day activations, and nutrition workshops and presentations. Monique consults to industry, regularly contributes to radio and online media, and is a PhD candidate at the University of Pretoria.
Minette is passionate about finding a healthy balance between achieving your health goals while satisfying your taste buds. She lives by her nutrition motto: It must be tasty. It should be healthy.” She has a particular interest in weight loss, insulin resistance, and mental health, as well as thyroid disorders. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Stellenbosch in 2019 where she received the award for the Best Student Dietitian. She also has a background in genetics (BSc Molecular Biology and Biotechnology) and enjoys incorporating genetic tests into meals plans. She is a trained and accredited Optifast and DNAlysis practitioner.
Ria is the founding partner of Nutritional Solutions, one of the leading dietetic practices in South Africa. Ria specialises in the nutritional management of obesity, type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes (metabolic syndrome) and NAFLD (Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease). Ria authored the book The Complete Nutritional Solution to Diabetes, also writing regularly for a variety of publications, from lifestyle magazines to scientific journals such as the South African Journal of Diabetes and the South African Medical Journal. Ria loves cooking and believes healthy eating should be delicious. She regularly contributes to the promotion of nutrition education and gives nutrition a “voice” by doing presentations and talks on radio, TV shows and conferences.
Cally is a registered dietitian (RD (SA)) with a love for nutrition and wellness. Cally did a BSc Human Life Sciences majoring in Genetics at Stellenbosch University followed by a BSc Med (Hons) in Nutrition & Dietetics at the University of Cape Town (UCT). She is a foodie and loves to be active outdoors. Cally is a South African certified lactation consultant with a special interest in infant and maternal nutrition, sport nutrition, weight loss and gut health. Cally believes that prevention is better than cure, and good sustainable nutrition is where it starts.
